Yuko performs in works, which she herself plans, produces, and directs, mainly in Tokyo and also in other avant-garde theatres all around Japan. Yuko has so far exhibited her talent in a wide variety of performances including Buto as well as telling of classics, folk tales, and contemporary poems. She has been trained in various forms of physical expression from the classic ballet, the Japanese traditional dance, Ankoku-buto, up to the Indian dance. She is also skilled in Japanese traditional chanting called Gidayu. Recently she gives live improvisational performances with musicians quite often in Tokyo. Yuko continuously challenges diverse possibilities as an actress and director from the traditional expression up to the abstract modernistic expression, and from the oldest Japanese classic to the most contemporary literature.

Being a member of Japanese Center of I.T.I., Yuko also works as an instructor of "voice and body training" at Announce School in Tokyo and Asahi Culture Center in Yokohama. At the same time she holds regular workshops in Kanazawa, Totsuka and other locations. In 1996, she taught a special 3-day-course at Policealne Studio Aktopskie in Krakow. Since then, she has performed and given workshops in Poland almost every year.

In 2002, Yuko Senga Unit held a tour to Poland with "The Night of Women" and Greece with "ORESTEIA", and made a great success.
